Coast redwoods are the tallest trees on Earth. In Redwood National Park, many of them top 300 feet. This laser cut ornament template captures what you see when you stand at the base of one and look straight up.
Seven woods give this intarsia mosaic style laser cut file all of its color, and the finished ornament is made from 22 pieces. Keep one for yourself, and cut a few more for friends who have craned their necks in a redwood grove. It belongs on the tree in December, and you can enjoy it year round once the holidays are over.

- Kerf and no kerf files provided. The kerf files have a .002 inch offset already added, a one size fits most option if you don't know your laser's kerf. The no kerf files are for makers who want to apply their own laser's kerf.

Material and thickness
- For 1/8 or 1/4 inch wood (3mm or 6mm), one thickness for the whole ornament
- Designed for wood. 7 different wood grains create the contrast and texture. No paint needed. No wood? No problem. Paint the pieces or use acrylic instead.
Sorted by wood species, rotated for grain
The files are sorted by wood species and the pieces are rotated to follow the grain, so your finished project has a clean, intentional look without you having to rearrange anything in your design software. We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species.
