Cancellation policy

This policy covers the Laser Art Society membership.

What you're agreeing to

When you join, you authorize us to charge your payment method the membership price shown at checkout, plus tax where it applies, every month until you cancel.

When you're charged

Your first payment is charged the day you join. It covers the calendar month you join in, based on Eastern time, and it isn't prorated.
After that, your membership renews on the 1st of every month.
If you join late in a month, your next payment still comes on the 1st. Join on the 28th, for example, and you'll be charged again a few days later, and you'll have earned both months' releases.

What each payment includes

Each month you pay for earns you that month's release, which is yours to keep. New releases typically come out on the first Friday of the month.

How to cancel

You can cancel anytime. Log in to your account at welcomehomecustom.com and cancel your subscription there. Members will find a short walkthrough in the member area, in The Workshop under Start here. If you'd rather, email hello@welcomehomecustom.com and we'll cancel it for you.

To avoid the next payment, cancel before the 1st of the month, Eastern time. If your email reaches us before the 1st, that counts as on time.

What happens when you cancel

Your payments stop.
You keep every release you paid for. They stay in My Downloadable Files in your account, and you can keep making and selling from them under the license in our Terms of service. The one exception is a release whose payment was refunded or charged back.
If you've already paid for the current month, you've paid for the full month. That month's release is yours, and you keep the member area, your member discounts and the private Facebook group through the last day of that month.
When that month ends, your access to the Laser Art Society member area and the Gallery ends, along with your member discounts and the Facebook group.
Membership is capped at 1,000 members. If it's full when you want to come back, you can join the waitlist.

The Gallery

The Gallery is where members can buy past releases that are more than a year old. It opens after three paid months in a row. Miss a month and the count starts over.

Refunds

Membership payments aren't refunded or prorated, including when you cancel partway through a month. If we charged you by mistake, email us and we'll put it right.

If a payment doesn't go through

If your renewal payment doesn't go through, we'll email you so you can update your card. If it still hasn't gone through by the 8th of the month, your membership is cancelled right away. Your access to the member area, your member discounts and the private Facebook group end that day, and that month's release isn't included. If you rejoin before the end of that same month, the month counts as paid and your run of months in a row continues. If you rejoin in a later month, your payment covers that later month. Missed releases can't be bought on their own, though they may become available later in the Gallery.

Changes

If the membership price changes, we'll email you at least 7 days before the new price applies, with a reminder of how to cancel. We may end a membership if our Terms of service are broken.

Good to know

Gift certificates can't be used for memberships.
