Play a joker in Pegs and Jokers and your peg jumps straight onto an opponent's, sending theirs all the way back to start. This North American race game has roots in Pachisi, the old Indian board game, and it's played with regular decks of cards, jokers included, rather than dice. Boards are usually homemade, and this laser cut game board file makes one for anywhere from 3 to 10 players.
Every player gets a board section and a set of five markers in a shape all their own. The sections hook together end to end, so three players make a triangle and ten make a decagon. Cut it all from one wood, or give each player a different wood the way we did, with markers to match their section. Start with a board for your own game nights. The relatives who play every holiday will likely ask for one of their own, and so will the shoppers at your craft show booth.
