From the saguaros of the Sonoran Desert to the coast redwoods of Northern California, the world's tallest trees, these laser cut ornament designs cover ten very different national parks. They even cross the Pacific to Haleakala, the volcano that makes up most of the island of Maui. Along the way you'll find Delicate Arch, the red rock of Canyonlands and Capitol Reef, the sand dunes of Death Valley and a bear beneath the giant trees of Sequoia.
Every design in this ornament file set is an intarsia inspired mosaic, and each laser cut file builds a finished wood ornament from anywhere between 12 and 29 pieces. Between them, the designs use ten woods for all their color, so no paint is needed. Hang all ten on a travel tree in December and set them out to enjoy year round, or split them up as gifts for friends who have visited these parks.

- 5 file formats: SVG, AI, EPS, DXF, PDF.
- Kerf and no kerf files provided. The kerf files have a .002 inch offset already added, a one size fits most option if you don't know your laser's kerf. The no kerf files are for makers who want to apply their own laser's kerf.

Material and thickness
- For 1/8 inch (3mm) or 1/4 inch (6mm) wood.
- Designed for wood. 10 different wood grains create the contrast and texture. No paint needed. No wood? No problem. Paint the pieces or use acrylic instead.
- Wood used: Cedar, Cherry, Hickory, Mahogany, Maple, Poplar, Red Oak, Sapele, Walnut, White Oak. Already selected for you.
Sorted by wood species, rotated for grain
The files are sorted by wood species and the pieces are rotated to follow the grain, so your finished project has a clean, intentional look without you having to rearrange anything in your design software. We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species.
