In Hawaiian, Haleakala means "house of the sun," and people drive in the dark to its summit, more than 10,000 feet high, to watch the sunrise. This laser cut ornament file catches that moment, when the sun breaks over a sea of clouds and lights up the volcano's red and brown slopes.
You'll cut a 16 piece ornament from this intarsia mosaic style laser cut file, and six woods provide every color in it, from the pale clouds to the deep red ridges. Anyone who has made that early drive will know this view, so cut one for them and a batch for your customers. It's a natural on a travel tree in December, and it keeps that sunrise on display all year round.

Material and thickness
- For 1/8 inch (3mm) or 1/4 inch (6mm) wood. Use one thickness for the whole ornament.
- Designed for wood. 6 different wood grains create the contrast and texture. No paint needed. No wood? No problem. Paint the pieces or use acrylic instead.
Sorted by wood species, rotated for grain
The files are sorted by wood species and the pieces are rotated to follow the grain, so your finished project has a clean, intentional look without you having to rearrange anything in your design software. We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species.
