This digital download laser cut file set (instant download, no physical product ships) turns wood into a standing fairy and a Medusa, ready to build as shelf figures or hang on a wall. You get a fairy laser cut design and a medusa svg, a greek myth design you can cut from different woods or stain to make them your own.
What is included
- Fairy shelf sitter, finished size 5.3 x 8.6 inches, about 40 pieces, with a scored flower option that combines the 17 petal pieces into 3 scored flower pieces if you want a simpler cut.
- Medusa shelf sitter, finished size 5.3 x 8.5 inches, 6 pieces.
- Each design also includes a backer, two stand pieces, and a hanger backer, so you can stand it on a base or hang it from a loop on top.
- The fairy uses all five woods: walnut, cherry, maple, red oak, and cedar. The Medusa uses cherry, maple, and walnut.
- 5 file formats: SVG, AI, EPS, DXF, PDF.
- Includes 28 different slot and tab sizes already formatted for you, to speed up the time from opening the file to finishing the project.
- A kerf offset option for tighter fitting pieces, or a no-kerf version if you want to apply your own.
- Written instructions with a file overview and assembly review.
Welcome Home Custom signature, sorted by wood grain
The files are sorted by wood species and the pieces are pre-rotated to follow the grain, so your finished project has a clean, intentional look without you having to rearrange anything in your design software. We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species.
Material and thickness
- Built for 1/8 inch (3mm) or 1/4 inch (6mm) wood.
- Use one thickness of wood or mix the thicknesses for more depth and dimension in the intarsia inspired design.
- This one is wood-only, 5 tones carry the contrast, no paint needed.
Compatible with most laser cutters
