This digital download laser cut file set (instant download, no physical product ships) includes an intarsia inspired desert ornament, a sunset scene with a cactus in the foreground, that makes the perfect southwest decor. This desert landscape can be made as an ornament (with loop) or a magnet (no loop) and is ready to cut from different woods or stain. You will see this style called Intarsia Inspired by some makers and Mosaic by others, both labels fit.

- The file uses up to 9 wood species. Option one: hickory, maple, poplar, padauk, purple heart, red oak, white oak, mahogany, and walnut. Option two swaps cedar in for padauk and purple heart, using 8 woods.

Welcome Home Custom signature, sorted by wood grain
The files are sorted by wood species and the pieces are pre-rotated to follow the grain, so your finished project has a clean, intentional look without you having to rearrange anything in your design software. We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species.
Material and thickness
- Use one thickness of wood or mix the thicknesses for more depth and dimension in the intarsia inspired design.
- This one is wood-only, the wood tones carry the contrast, no paint needed.
