Two rivers meet inside Canyonlands National Park. The Green and the Colorado join at a spot called the Confluence, and together they divide the park into districts with names like Island in the Sky, the Needles and the Maze. The scene on this laser cut ornament file is classic red rock country, with tall sandstone towers under clouds drifting across the sky.
This mosaic intarsia style laser cut file lays out the ornament in 20 pieces across eight woods, so all the color comes straight from the grain. The pieces are small, which makes it a handy file for using up leftover wood. Your travel tree gets a new ornament in December, and that ornament can stay out on a shelf long after the tree comes down. Material and thickness
- For 1/8 inch (3mm) or 1/4 inch (6mm) wood. Use one thickness for the whole ornament.
- Designed for wood. 8 different wood grains create the contrast and texture. No paint needed. No wood? No problem. Paint the pieces or use acrylic instead.
Sorted by wood species, rotated for grain
The files are sorted by wood species and the pieces are rotated to follow the grain, so your finished project has a clean, intentional look without you having to rearrange anything in your design software. We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species.
