Refund policy

Everything we sell is digital: laser design files, memberships, online courses and gift certificates. Nothing is shipped. Design files are ready to download as soon as you check out, and memberships and courses are reached through your account. A digital file can't be handed back, so all sales are final, apart from the 14 day guarantee on our course.

Returns, exchanges and cancelled orders

We don't accept returns or exchanges, and you can't cancel an order once it's placed. Please read the listing before you buy so you know what's included. If you aren't sure a file will work for you, email us first. We're happy to help.

If something is wrong with a file

If a file won't open, arrives damaged, or is missing something the listing said was included, email hello@welcomehomecustom.com with your order number and tell us what's happening. We'll fix the file and make sure you have a working copy.

Billing mistakes

If you were charged twice or charged the wrong amount, email us and we'll put it right.

Memberships

Laser Art Society payments aren't refunded or prorated. You can cancel anytime to stop future payments, and you keep every release you paid for. The details are in our Subscription policy.

Courses

Designing for Lasers is backed by a 14 day guarantee. If you decide the course isn't the right fit, email hello@designingforlasers.com within 14 days of your purchase and we'll take care of your refund. After those 14 days, enrollment is final.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates can't be returned or exchanged for cash, unless the law where you live requires it. They can be used for design files and courses. They can't be used for memberships.

If we do refund an order

When we issue a refund, it goes back to your original payment method. Your bank or card company can take up to 10 business days to show it. If an order is refunded in full or charged back, access to those files or that course ends, along with the license for the files. This doesn't apply when we're correcting a billing mistake.

Customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom

You normally have 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase. For downloadable files, that right ends once the download starts, as long as you agreed to immediate delivery when you ordered. If you believe you have the right to withdraw from a purchase, email hello@welcomehomecustom.com within 14 days and we'll work through it with you. Nothing in this policy limits rights the law gives you that can't be waived.
