The same eight trees can be home to a doe and buck, a pair of foxes, a bear and cub, a moose, or Bigfoot. This laser cut woodland scene template stands the trees in rows on an oval base, and you decide which animals walk among them. The moose is the biggest member of the deer family, which makes the deer and moose scenes a natural pair.
Our trees are mahogany, cedar and maple, and the animals are walnut and cherry. The files come in 26 slot sizes, so the slots can match the wood thickness you're using. The finished scene fits right in on a cabin mantel or the bookshelf of anyone who spends weekends in the woods. If you sell at craft shows or markets, cut all five, since the matching trees make them look like a collection on your table.

Material and thickness
- Choose the slot size that fits your wood. The sizes run from .115 to .250 inch.
- Wood for the trees and base: about one 18.5 x 10.85 inch sheet.
- Wood for the animals: from 4 x 4.25 inches to 6.5 x 3.5 inches, depending on the animal.
- Wood used: mahogany, cedar and maple for the trees, mahogany and cedar for the base, walnut and cherry for the animals.
- Glue for the double layer base.
- Masking as needed.
